Things To Always Remember
  by: Author Unknown, Source Unknown

Your presence is a present to the world.

You are unique and one of a kind.

Your life can be what you want it to be.

Take the days just one at a time.

Count your blessings, not your troubles.

You will make it through whatever comes along.

Within you are so many answers.

Understand, have courage, be strong.

Do not put limits on yourself.

So many dreams are waiting to be realized.

Decisions are too important to leave to chance.

Reach for your peak, your goal and you prize.

Nothing wastes more energy than worrying.

The longer one carries a problem the heavier it gets.

Do not take things too seriously.

Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.

Remember that a little love goes a long way.

Remember that a lot … goes forever.

Remember that friendship is a wise investment.

Life’s treasure are people together.

Realize that it is never too late.

Do ordinary things in an extraordinary way.

Have hearth and hope and happiness.

Take the time to wish upon a star.

AND DO NOT EVER FORGET ….
FOR EVEN A DAY
HOW VERY SPECIAL YOU ARE!

                 And

Always Remember you are Waheguru's Creation

Life is short, energy limited, with this limited energy we have to find the unlimited; with this short life we have to find the eternal. Don?t waste it with unimportant matters

Remember to live

Living and Dying

First I was dying to finish high school and start college.
And then I was dying to finish college and start working.
And then I was dying to marry and have children.
And then I was dying for my children to grow old enough for school so I could return to work.
And then I was dying to retire.
And now, I AM dying -- and suddenly I realize I forgot to live.

Remember to invest every second wisely

Imagine there is a bank, which credits your account each morning with £86,400, carries over no balance from day to day, allow you to keep no cash balance, and every evening cancels whatever part of the amount you had failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every penny, of course!

Well, everyone has such a bank. Its name is Time.

Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the records of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow."

Life is short, energy limited, with this limited energy we have to find the unlimited; with this short life we have to find the eternal. Don?t waste it with unimportant matters

Remember The game of life

"Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them - work, family, health, friends and spirit and you're keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls - family, health, friends and spirit - are made of glass.

If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life."

How? Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special. Don't set your goals by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you. Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as they would your life, for without them, life is meaningless. Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or for the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live ALL the days of your life.

Don't give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying. Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect. It is this fragile thread that binds us to each together.

Don't be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave. Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's impossible to find time. The quickest way to receive love is to give; the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly; and the best way to keep love is to give it wings.

Don't run through life so fast that you forget not only where you've been, but also where you are going.

Don't forget, a person's greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated.

Don't be afraid to learn. Knowledge is weightless, a treasure you can always carry easily.

Don't use time or words carelessly. Neither can be retrieved. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savoured each step of the way.

Don't use time or words carelessly. Neither can be retrieved. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savoured each step of the way.

Life is short, energy limited, with this limited energy we have to find the unlimited; with this short life we have to find the eternal. Don?t waste it with unimportant matters

~~~~~ Remember~~~~~
We are born with two eyes in front, because we must not always look behind.
But see what lies ahead, beyond us.
We are born to have two ears - one left one right so we can hear both sides.
Collect both the compliments and criticisms, to see which are right. ...
We are born with a brain concealed in a skull.
Then no matter how poor we are, we are still rich.
For no one can steal what our brains contains.
Packing in more jewels and rings than you can think.
We are born with two eyes, two ears, but one mouth.
For the mouth is a sharp weapon, it can hurt, flirt, kill.
Remember to talk less, listen and see more.
We are born with only one heart, deep in our ribs.
It reminds us to appreciate and give love from deep within.
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there...to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become.
Life is short, energy limited, with this limited energy we have to find the unlimited; with this short life we have to find the eternal. Don?t waste it with unimportant matters
  REMEMBER THREE DEBTS DURING LIFE.
First Debt to God that can be repaid by dedicating one’s life to the service of God - this is done by :
o Service to all mankind.
o Reverence for elders, teacher
o Practice of non-violence, truthfulness, respectfulness
o Obeying scriptural injunction
o Protection of the Earth
o Vegetarianism or Purity in Diet
o Moderation/Simplicity
o Non-interference
o Universality
o Peace·
Second Debt to sages and saints that can be repaid by:
o Reverence and and service to saints, sages and gurus
o Transmission of the scriptural teaching and cultural heritage
o serving the society and poor, without expectation of returns·
Third Debt to one’s ancestors
o Can be repaid by raising one’s family in accordance with the moral and ethical principals of dharma....
Remember
After awhile you learn
the subtle difference between
holding a hand and chaining a soul
and you learn that love doesn't mean possession
and company doesn't mean security.
And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts
and presents aren't promises and you begin to accept
your defeats with your head up and your eyes ahead
with the grace of an adult not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build your roads today
because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans
and futures have ways of falling down in mid-flight.
After awhile you learn that even sunshine
burns if you get too much so you plant your
own garden and decorate your own soul
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure
that you really are strong
and you really do have worth
and you learn
and you learn... .
Taken from internet,
Remember there are two types of dreams.
One dream starts when you close your eyes… and it stops when you open your eyes.
The second dream is this world that we live in. The day you wake up from this dream, you will realize what your mission is and what you are actually supposed to do here with your life.
Guru Granth Sahib Ji keeps on reminding us to wake up from our second dream.
Life is short, energy limited, with this limited energy we have to find the unlimited; with this short life we have to find the eternal. Don?t waste it with unimportant matters
Things to Remember
I find what I look for in people.
If I look for God, I find God.
If I look for bad qualities, I find them.
I, in a sense, select what I expect, and I receive it.
 A life without challenges would be like going to school without lessons to learn.
Challenges come not to depress or get me down, but to master and to grow and to unfold thereby.
In the Father's wise and loving plan for me, no burden can fall upon me, no emergency can arise, no grief can overtake me, before I am given the grace and strength to meet them.
A rich, full life is not determined by outer circumstances and relationships. These can be contributory to it, but cannot be the source.
I am happy or unhappy because of what I think and feel.
I can never lose anything that belongs to me, nor can I posses what is not really mine.
To never run from a problem: either it will chase me or I will run into another just like it, although it may have a different face or name.
To have no concern for tomorrow. Today is the yesterday over which I had concern.
To never bang on a closed door: Wait for it to open and then go through it.
A person who has come into my life has come either to teach me something, or to learn something from me.
The "Why" of Love
Here's a message that needs to be drilled into the hearts and minds of every mom and dad: You don't love your kids because of what they do, but because of who they are.
Simply rewarding children with affection because of their accomplishments is wrong, a child needs affection all the time, yes also when it didnt do something astonishing. Your child deserves two loving parents, who support them when its going well for him but also when its not going so well, in such a case it needs the love of parents even more. Never stop encouraging your kid, it gives them more reason to try when both parents support them.
A mother and father have to explain to their children that it is not what they do that makes them love them -- they love them because they are unique and because they are their children born out of love between 2 people.
You don't only show affection simply because a child is good at karate or gymnastics. Every mom, dad and grandparent needs to memorize the words of a long-time popular song: "I love you most of all because you're you."
A GREAT FRIEND
Always Remember
If you are ever facing a problem
there are 3 important things to
remember.
First, remember that things could always be worse.
Somewhere in the world there is someone facing a
much bigger problem than you are.
Second, remember the good things in life. Remember
the innocence of youth, the beauty of nature, and the
warmth of love.
Third, remember that I will always be your friend.
No matter what happens I will always be there for you.
May all your days be beautiful and bright...
and all your nights be peaceful.
Thanks for being such a great friend!
WATCH THE CHILDREN
By: Joseph J. Mazzella
     I just love weekday afternoons in May. It is during this special time that I get to see one of the most wonderful sights in the world. It is a sight that teaches me again and again about what life truly is all about. I get to see it mainly when I go to pick up my youngest son from school. I can even hear it as I get out of my car. Its musical and magical sound floats happily through the air from the playground just off the preschool building. It is the sound of children at play.
     Each day just before I pick up my boy I take in this glorious and happy sight of the preschool children having one last recess before they go home. Many of the parents are there as well smiling as they watch that special joy that their children are creating. I look on as one happy boy swings and calls out for his teacher to watch. I see two smiling girls skip, laugh, and gather handfuls of dandelions to give their Moms. I watch as two boys ride the rocking horses with all the energy and delight that their little hearts can muster. I smile upon seeing a girl hanging upside down from the miniature monkey bars and giggling at the whole world. As I get my own son he too runs for the swing set for one last ride as well before we head home. He may have the body of a 12 year old, but he still has the bliss of a child?s heart, mind, and soul.
     These beautiful children remind me everyday that life truly is about joy, laughter, and love.  Anything else is just details. We may all have to go to our jobs, clean our homes, raise our families, and take care of all the tasks in life. Still, there is no reason we can?t do all these things with love, laughter, and joy. In fact the only thing we should take seriously in this life is the love and joy that we choose and share. It is what makes life worth living and it is God?s greatest gift to us all. Cherish that gift then. Rejoice in it. Share it with the world. And if you don?t think you can remember how to then stop by a playground one day and watch the children.
Life is short, energy limited, with this limited energy we have to find the unlimited; with this short life we have to find the eternal. Don?t waste it with unimportant matters
Remember when you were a little child trying to learn to walk? Maybe not, but I'm pretty sure it went something like this:
First you had to learn to stand: a process involving constantly falling down, then getting back up. You laughed sometimes and cried at other times. Somehow there was a determination and conviction that you would succeed, no matter what.
After much practice you finally figure out how to balance yourself, a necessary requirement. You enjoyed this new feeling of power - you'd stand everywhere you could - in your crib, by the couch, on someone's lap. It was a joyous time - you did it! You were in control of you.
Now - the next step - walking. You'd seen others do it - it didn't look that hard - just move your legs while you were standing, right? Wrong - more complexity than you ever imagined. More frustration than anyone should have to deal with. But you tried, again and again and again until you figured this out, too.
If people caught you walking, they applauded, they laughed, it was a, "Oh my God, look at what he's/she's doing". This encouragement fueled you on; it raised your self-confidence. But how many times did you attempt when no one was watching, when no one was cheering? Every chance you got. You had places to go, things to see, knowledge to learn. You couldn't wait for someone to encourage you to take the next steps. You learned how to encourage yourself.
If we could only remember this about ourselves in today's day.
Remember that we can do anything we set our minds to if we are willing to go through the process, just like when we learned to walk. We don't need to wait for others to encourage us; we need to encourage ourselves.
If you've forgotten how to do this, or feel like your self-esteem needs a boost, take a short journey back through the your life - look at your accomplishments, no matter if they were large or small - you met the challenge and figured out a way to succeed. Focus on all the things you thought you could never do, initially, and did. While going back, look for the little child you once were. Thank them for never giving up. As you wave goodbye, remember they will never give up on you. They have believed in you all of your life!
Now you need to believe in you too!
"Remember, today is the best day of your life because yesterday was and tomorrow may only be." --- Marlene
Have a wonderful week ahead - make a difference!
Earth Teach Me to Remember
Earth teach me stillness
as the grasses are stilled with light.
Earth teach me suffering
as old stones suffer with memory.
Earth teach me humility
as blossoms are humble with beginning.
Earth Teach me caring
as the mother who secures her young.
Earth teach me courage
as the tree which stands alone.
Earth teach me limitation
as the ant which crawls on the ground.
Earth teach me freedom
as the eagle which soars in the sky.
Earth teach me resignation
as the leaves which die in the fall.
Earth teach me regeneration
as the seed which rises in the spring.
Earth teach me to forget myself
as melted snow forgets its life.
Earth teach me to remember kindness
as dry fields weep in the rain.
Life is short, energy limited, with this limited energy we have to find the unlimited; with this short life we have to find the eternal. Don?t waste it with unimportant matters
