IMPORTANCE OF TODAY

 

 

Today is one of the greatest gifts god has given you.

While you slept last night

Today was born at the stroke of midnight

As you opened your sleepy eyes and peered out your window

This gift was laid right on your lap-

Beautifully wrapped in the bright sunshine sky.

 

As u opened the gift, you found it was like a book

Twenty four pages, called hours, to write on,

Your life was the pen, and what you did, said thought and willed

Got written on this book-with indelible ink

Once a page was written, it was stored for eternity-

To be opened and read only by the lord who gave it, on the great judgment day

 

The gift of today is unique

There never has been a day like today; and never in future shall be

Once a page is turned, you never can go back to it-ever

You can’t correct an error on  a previous page,

Only acknowledge, and resolve to repeat it no more

You do not have to turn the pages-they turn on their own;

The prologue of this book was written on the day you were born; and your epitaph will be the epilogue.

 

The sun will surely set on Today-in the wrappings of the setting sun.

 

As u peer out your window, and see the receding shadows,

remember-you have just few more hours

To write a right account of your life,

Before today is forever gone;

That you may not have to be ashamed

On that final judgment day!

In my view everyday is important. We should make everyday important, full of fulfillment and that spirits would remain intact throughout our life. Everyday is precious

 

There are two ways of being rich. One is to have all you want, the other is to be satisfied with what you have. Always accept as is :)

When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around.

Arise and awake....it is the young generation dat will do it.......THE YOUNG,THE ENERGETIC,THE STRONG,THE WELL-BUILT,THE INTELECTUAL-This is what is important.....-what say????????/
